1. Stop 1

   Duration: 60 min

   Begin your journey at the Colosseum, the most iconic monument of Ancient Rome. Enter with your licensed guide and discover how this extraordinary amphitheater was built, how its spectacles were organized, and what life was like for the gladiators who fought before tens of thousands of spectators. With the Arena Floor option, step onto the restricted Arena Floor and experience the Colosseum from the perspective of the fighters who once entered the arena. Your guide will bring the monument to life through stories of Roman engineering, politics, entertainment, emperors and gladiators.

2. Stop 2

   Duration: 60 min

   Continue to the Roman Forum, once the political, religious and commercial heart of Ancient Rome. Walk among the remains of temples, basilicas, triumphal arches and public buildings while your guide explains how the Forum functioned at the height of the Roman Empire. Hear fascinating stories of emperors, senators, political intrigue, public ceremonies and everyday Roman life as you explore one of the ancient world's most important archaeological sites.

3. Stop 3

   Duration: 60 min

   Complete your journey on Palatine Hill, one of Rome's legendary Seven Hills and the place traditionally associated with the founding of the city. Explore the remains of magnificent imperial palaces where Roman emperors once lived and enjoy panoramic views over the Roman Forum and the ancient city. Your guide will explain how Palatine Hill developed from Rome's legendary birthplace into one of the most prestigious residential areas of the Roman Empire.
