1. Stop 1

   Duration: 50 min

At Hakone Shrine, visitors can enjoy the stunning view of the “Peace Torii” floating on Lake Ashi, pray for good fortune and success, and visit Kuzuryu Shrine, known for bringing love and good relationships. The cedar-lined approach creates a mystical atmosphere, making a simple walk feel purifying. After visiting, you can relax at a nearby café or take a cruise on Lake Ashi. Hakone Shrine offers a perfect blend of nature, history, and spiritual serenity in one place.

2. Stop 2

   Duration: 80 min

After the cruise, enjoy lunch at Moto-Hakone Port, a scenic spot along the lakeshore. This area offers a wide variety of restaurants — from traditional Japanese cuisine to Western-style dishes and cozy cafés — and your guide will recommend the best local favorites. A meal enjoyed with a view of Mt. Fuji is truly unforgettable. Local specialties such as fried smelt fish (wakazagi), Hakone soba noodles, and seasonal Japanese set meals are especially popular. Relax and savor a peaceful moment that will satisfy both your heart and your appetite.

3. Stop 3

   Duration: 60 min

Next, enjoy a relaxing cruise on a sightseeing ship — not just any boat, but a charming pirate ship designed like something out of a fairytale. As you glide across the lake, the crystal-clear blue water, lush green mountains, and the snow-capped peak of Mt. Fuji unfold before you like a living painting. One of the highlights of this cruise is the breathtaking scenery that changes with each season. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom along the shore; in summer, the landscape is filled with vibrant greenery; autumn brings brilliant red and gold leaves; and in winter, the lake reflects the serene beauty of snow-covered peaks.

4. Stop 4

   Duration: 50 min

The first destination is Owakudani, a volcanic valley still active today. The smell of sulfur fills the air, and white steam rises from the rugged ground — it feels like witnessing the very heartbeat of the Earth. Surrounded by rocky terrain and swirling smoke, the landscape looks almost otherworldly, as if you’ve stepped onto Mars. Don’t miss the area’s famous black eggs, a local specialty said to add seven years to your life. Boiled in the natural geothermal heat, they’re both delicious and symbolic of good fortune. You can also take an optional ropeway ride for a thrilling aerial view directly above the steaming volcanic valley.

5. Stop 5

   Duration: 30 min

Fuji Shibasari Peace Park is a hidden gem known mostly to locals. From its quiet hilltop location, you can enjoy one of the clearest and most beautiful views of Mt. Fuji without the crowds. The pure white stupa and the iconic mountain together create a peaceful, picture-perfect scene, changing with the seasons — cherry blossoms in spring, deep greenery in summer, colorful leaves in autumn, and crisp views in winter. If you want a stunning Mt. Fuji photo spot that most tourists never find, this is the place.
